A refined booking experience

1. Introduction

The Stevens Standard Inc. (“we,” “our,” or “us”) has established this Booking Policy to ensure a smooth, fair, and efficient booking experience for all clients. This policy outlines the terms and conditions related to scheduling appointments, deposits, confirmations, and booking requirements.

 

2. Appointment-Only Studio

 

— The Stevens Standard is a private, appointment-only luxury nail studio. Walk-ins are not accepted.​

— All appointments must be scheduled via The Stevens Standard’s official email address, social media direct messaging, or text messaging. ​

— Only the booked client is permitted inside the studio unless prior approval has been given. ​

— Due to health and safety regulations, as well as the limited space of the studio, no children will be permitted inside the studio unless prior approval has been given. ​

— Services will not be permitted to individuals under the age of 16 years old.

3. New Clients

​

— All new clients must book online and submit a non-refundable deposit to secure an appointment. Please refer to Pricing Policy for more details. ​

— Please review service descriptions carefully before booking to ensure the correct service is selected.​

— If you are unsure which service to book, please contact The Stevens Standard before scheduling.​

— All new clients receive a personalized nail consultation to assess nail health, determine the most suitable product systems based on lifestyle, and discuss preferred shape, length, and colour tones.​

— All new clients are required to complete and sign a liability waiver prior to their appointment. Please refer to Client Liability Waiver & Informed Consent Form.

 

4. Nail Condition & Previous Work

​

Please arrive with bare nails unless removal has been booked.

​

Removal of product from another nail technician must be booked in advance.

​

Failure to disclose previous work may result in:

​

— Additional charges

— A shortened service

— Or rescheduling if insufficient time is available

​

5. Arrival Time

​

Please arrive exactly on time for your appointment.

​

Early arrivals may be asked to wait, as the studio is prepared per client.

 

6. Late Arrivals

​

Arrivals over 15 minutes late may result in:

​

— A modified or shortened service

— Or cancellation if the appointment cannot be completed properly. Please refer to Cancellation, Rescheduling & No-show Policy for more details. 

​

Appointments cancelled due to lateness will result in forfeiture of the deposit.

 

7. Downtown Vancouver Parking

 

The studio is located in downtown Vancouver, where parking availability varies.

Clients are responsible for:

​

— Finding parking

— Parking fees

— Allowing enough time to arrive punctually

— Any parking fines or towing costs 

​

Late arrivals due to parking will be treated the same as any other late arrival.

​

8. Service Guarantee & Maintenance

​

If you experience a service issue related to application or structure, please notify the studio within 48 hours after your appointment. 

​

Complimentary fixes are assessed on a case-by-case basis.

​

— Longevity depends on lifestyle, aftercare and nail health
— Damage caused by impact, picking or improper removal is not covered

​

9. Right to Refuse Service

​

For safety and quality reasons, services may be refused if:

​

— There are signs of infection, fungal conditions, or open wounds

— Nails are severely damaged beyond safe service limits

— The individual is under the age of 16 years old

— Policies are repeatedly disregarded

​

Deposits remain non-refundable in these cases.

​

10. Studio Etiquette 

​

To preserve a calm, elevated environment:

​

— Noise levels should be kept low 

— Food and strong fragrances are discouraged
— Respectful communication is expected at all times

 

Any inappropriate behaviour will result in immediate termination of the service.

​11. Changes to This Policy

​

We reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy at any time without prior notice.

12. Acknowledgement

​

By booking with The Stevens Standard, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to all studio policies. These policies exist to ensure consistency, professionalism, and an exceptional client experience.
