The Hand Model Experience is a complimentary service provided in exchange for participation in professional photography, videography, and promotional content for The Stevens Standard. This exclusive experience is designed for individuals who enjoy being part of a creative collaboration and are open to artistic direction while helping refine new application techniques — Dual Forms. HOW TO APPLY Click "Apply Now". Select the date and time for this appointment — Saturday, 22 August 2026 @ 08:00 AM. Complete the application form. Applications close Thursday, 20 August 2026 @ 11:59 (PDT). WHAT TO EXPECT During this extended appointment, all nail shapes, lengths, and designs are artist-selected, allowing complete creative freedom to explore signature styles, seasonal collections, and artistic concepts. Sessions may include advanced nail art, experimental designs, innovative techniques, or specialty treatments. Please review the inspirational images from fellow nail artists below. These examples represent the styles and aesthetic direction available through the Hand Model Experience. While your preferences will always be thoughtfully considered, final creative direction—including design, shape, length, and colour selection—will be determined by Kirsten to best suit the artistic vision of each project. As this is a content-focused experience, clients must be comfortable with additional time allocated after the service for photography and video content capture. Enjoy some down-time with your favourite TV-show or movie. Refreshments will be provided throughout the appointment for your comfort. PHOTO SUBMISSION As part of the application, applicants are kindly asked to upload clear, unedited photographs of both hands (without nail enhancements or polish, if possible). These photos are used solely to assess nail shape, nail bed proportions, skin condition, and overall hand aesthetics to determine whether they are suitable for the specific designs, techniques, or content planned for the session. This process is not intended to discriminate or exclude anyone, but rather to ensure that the selected model is the best fit for the artistic vision of each project. CREATIVE DIRECTION This allows By booking this service, you acknowledge and agree that all nail shapes, lengths, colours, designs, finishes, and techniques are selected solely by Kirsten. While personal preferences may be considered where appropriate, the final artistic direction remains entirely at the discretion of The Stevens Standard. ELIGIBILITY To participate, clients must: — Be at least 16 years of age. — Not be a practicing nail technician or nail industry professional. — Be available for weekend appointments, when most model sessions are scheduled. — Complete the application form in full. — Submit clear, recent photographs of both natural hands for consideration. — Arrive with completely bare nails, free of polish, gel, acrylic, dip powder, or any nail enhancements. Submitting an application does not guarantee selection. Models are chosen based on the specific artistic requirements of each project. PHOTOGRAPHY & MEDIA CONSENT This experience includes professional photography and/or videography before, during, and after the appointment. By participating, you grant The Stevens Standard permission to use all captured content for marketing, advertising, educational, website, social media, and promotional purposes without compensation or time limitation. APPOINTMENT DURATION Hand Model appointments are longer than standard services to allow time for detailed application, photography, and content creation. Clients should allow sufficient time for the entire experience. CANCELLATIONS & NO-SHOWS As this is a complimentary appointment, a minimum of 48 hours' notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling. Clients who fail to attend their appointment or cancel with less than 48 hours' notice may lose eligibility to participate in future Hand Model Experiences offered by The Stevens Standard. SERVICE GUARANTEE As this service is provided free of charge for creative and promotional purposes, no changes, redesigns, refunds, credits, or compensation will be offered if the final design does not align with personal preferences. RIGHT TO DECLINE The Stevens Standard reserves the right to decline, cancel, or discontinue a the appointment at any time if eligibility requirements are not met, inaccurate information is provided, or the service is deemed unsuitable for the intended creative project.
